Pretty car - Fan experiment

Gerry bought this.  Said he got it for Bernice.  However, I noted that he put the title in his name. But I am sure he will let me drive it.  I have a friend who sells antiques.  I asked her where she finds the antiques to sell.  She said friends just know she is in to it and call her when them have some.  It seems the same things happens with Gerry.  A motorcycle friend learned that this car was for sale and knew Gerry collected cars as well as motorcycles so let him know about it.  The rest is history!!  It is a 1976 Triumph Spitfire.  It has about 20,000 miles on it and has been stored indoors.  It has not run for about 25 years however so needs a bit of work on the engine.  But interior and outside are great.  Since G likes the mechanical work better than body work this is great for him.

We were complaining to a friend about how the second story of our house does not get cool when the air conditioner is on.  He told us the front entry way acts as a chimney bringing the hot air up.  He suggested a ceiling fan where the chandelier is.  So Gerry conducted an experiment.  It actually did the trick. The upstairs bedrooms cooled down.  So now I get to shop for a new light and fan!

That's a great fan experiment - and a beautiful car!

The fan looks a little scary. Is G going to have to get another shed for the new car?

He's got the motor cycles...you get the red sports car. If he drives a red sports car to work, he's just going to get a ticket :)

I can tell you haven't lived in a hot climate for a while because that's pretty much common knowledge and a common feature in warm area houses.
