Attending EAA gathering with 642,000 other people

Last week Gerry and I attended the EAA AirVenture which is the worl renown fly-in convention in  Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Years ago we rented a camper with A's parents an sis.  This time no such luxury.  Gerry and I slept in a small tent.  I can' complain too much becaude a blow up mattress fit in it.  But that was about all.

Since I took very few pictures, I will share a link that shows it all.

Weather was a challenge.  Highs in the 90s some days and heavy rain and winds at night.

But our tent stayed upright.

There is not better way to say this except, "Better you than me." I am so glad you both had fun and I hope i never have to go to Oshkosh again :)

Glad you had a good time in spite of the weather.

Happy memories of the time - the camper was luxurious - I don't think I could have survived the week in a tent, though the on-site facilities were very good.
