Out with the old, in with the new. From this picture, the old doesn't look too bad. But the cloth cushions are faded and have lost their support. The sofa and love seat are about 35 years old. I found the new sofa and recliner on Craig's List. It is six months old and fits DH really well. The sofa has recliners on each side.
A local church has rented a large truck and asked for furniture to take to Joplin, Missouri where the devastating tornados hit. I had already given them a dresser, chest of drawers and a crib. Then I found the sofa and chair so they are taking the old sofa, love seat and end tables. Of course now that I have the furniture, I can start thinking flooring and paint for the walls. But at least I know what I have to work with.

I know that we had a family picture taken on that old couch when your son was two years old. Now his youngest child is two years old. Yeah for new couches!
The new couch makes the room look so different - the old coach is going to make some family happy.
