The grandchildren were with us for four days. K built a house for our cat. She put treats in it, which the cat ate, but could not get the cat to stay in the house.
One day we visited a neighbor who has horses. It did not work out for them to ride.
They could just be close.
We had a busy time: picked blueberries, spent hours at a park/playground, had a bonfire, rode the four wheeler, picked peas and shelled them. I am tired, but it was great as usual.

Sigh. It's so hard to convince cats that they'd like to be in a cat house, when the whole wide world is available. The neighbors have built a cat bridge/highway system with boards for our cat, and she seems to use it, if only because she's on a string and there are limited places to walk.
It looks like you had a totally fun grandparents camp.
It sounds like you had a great time. K must have inherited some of those engineering genes!
Cat's are just so unappreciative.
