Over the weekend, I asked G to assist me with putting up the fence around the garden area. We measured it and he decided to add a little more soil. There was a large pile of soil next to the area and he just kept adding more and more. Then he used the blade to level it and then tilled it all in. Now it is raining all week, so the fence will go in next week. My part in this was easy, I just took the pictures. He thinks he got away from the farm, but it keeps showing up. But both of us agree, no animals because we do not want to do chores every day.

Watching your DH's sister in action in her mini-garden plot, the statement about not really getting away from the farm clearly is manifesting with his siblings as well
now, taking the elements you loved from farming and sticking your thumb up at the bits you hated? I'd say that's the ultimate triumph.
